Send a support request
Family Rhythm support is handled in the CodexCaptain support centre so your request, replies, and follow-up stay in one place. We typically reply within 1-2 business days.
Before sending: include your iOS version and Family Rhythm app version, but leave out private journal entries and children's full names.

Getting started
- Add people one at a time in the guided setup, including optional interests, photos, birthdays, and a starter rhythm.
- On Rings, tap a person for a suggested next step or tap Pip to log a spontaneous moment.
- Suggestions rotate across questions, activities, care, and repair. You can write your own question or moment whenever a suggestion does not fit.
- Continue free anytime — Family Plus is optional.
Apple Watch
- Open Family Rhythm on your iPhone once to sync your people and today’s rhythm to the Watch companion.
- Choose a person, then log a suggested warm step or a one-tap moment such as a hug, call, question, prayer, or play.
- If the Watch shows no people, keep the iPhone nearby, open both apps, and allow a moment for WatchConnectivity to refresh.
- Moments logged on Watch are saved by the iPhone app. Confirm the success haptic or status message before closing.
Purchases & Family Plus
- Open More → Family Plus → Restore purchases if content did not unlock after buying.
- Subscriptions and packs are managed in your Apple ID Subscriptions / Purchase History.
- Family Plus includes all 15 activity packs, favourites, remembered regulars, adaptive suggestions, Rhythm Drops, and private iCloud Family Backup.
- Individual activity packs are permanent purchases. Apple Family Sharing is available only where Apple shows it for that purchase.
iCloud Family Backup
- Backup requires Family Plus and an iCloud-signed-in device.
- Open Journal and scroll to iCloud Family Backup to create, list, restore, or delete private backups.
- Restoring replaces the current local journal. Create a fresh backup first if you need to keep both versions.
- If an older backup photo is unavailable, Family Rhythm restores the journal entry and tells you which photo could not be recovered.
- If backup fails, check iCloud storage, network, and iCloud account status, then try again.
Privacy & data
- Your journal stays local by default. See the Privacy Policy.
- To clear local data, use the in-app reset tools on the More tab.
